Comic. Two-column table. Column A lists planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. Column B has checkmark boxes for whether the planets have rings: the outer planets’ boxes are checked, and Earth has a red check. [Earth with a ring with an array pf points around it. An arrow labeled “Geostationary Satellite Bel”t points to the ring.] [caption] Astronomy fact: A century ago, Earth didn’t have rings, but we have one now! It’s where all the satellite dishes are pointed.

Updating rpayne.dev: New Docs and Blog With Docusaurus, plus World of Warcraft Classic This site has been neglected. Time to rethink... I'm thinking about starting a Docusaurus site for the blog and a new documentation section of rpayne.dev. I found a Docusaurus template on Vercel and liked it a lot so I'm going to give it a try. Vercel has a free tier based on usage limits and I can't see me ever going over the free limits, so this seems like a good place to start.

Alludo - Wikipedia

I haven't heard anything about Corel in 30 years. I used CorelDRAW all the time in the AOL days. TIL CorelDRAW is still updated and maintained. Also TIL Corel (rebranded to Alludo) has owned WordPerfect since 1996.

Hey chooms,

We initially hoped to put Update 2.3 in your hands on June 26. However, we'll need some more time to make sure we're happy with it - we're aiming for a scope similar to Update 2.2. We'll update you further as soon as we can!

We appreciate your patience!

A view of Earth rising above the Moon's horizon, taken from space. The Moon's barren, gray surface stretches across the lower portion of the image, while Earth appears as a small, vibrant blue-and-white sphere against the vast blackness of space.

Earth Day is a reminder that we only have one planet. Sometimes, it takes seeing Earth from space to truly grasp how precious it is. 🧵⬇️ (1/4)

Why is network segmentation/microsegmentation worth the money? I understand the minimization of lateral movement but it’s really hard to make that case to upper management if I can’t justify cost savings.

Network segmentation reduces the risk of lateral movement during security breaches, providing a crucial defense layer. This investment might be difficult to quantify in direct cost savings, but it significantly enhances security, potentially preventing costly breaches.
