@joesonka.lpm.org Did they pass any of the proposed hemp bills or incorporate similar language in any of the bills they did pass?

Y'all don't have to take my word for it:

And look, fuck RFK Jr., the MAHA movement, and this administration. There's enough real stuff happening to be called out, but this ain't one of them.

The @thetnholler.bsky.social however, still has the same post on multiple platforms calling Robert Irvine a "podcast guest" for some reason, instead of by name, and wrongly claiming he says "dog" meat when its clear he says "dark" meat. Maybe the Queen's English is too hard to understand?

If I criticize publicly then I'll provide appreciation publicly too. I (wrongly) tagged @nashvillebanner.bsky.social and (correctly) tagged @tennesseelookout.com, and both reached out inquiring about my perceived issue. Regardless if I was wrong or right, I appreciate local journalism that listens.

I understand that journalism and social media are difficult to navigate, and I don't mean to denigrate the important work these outlets do, but to see WKRN level errors in both @thetnholler.bsky.social and @tennesseelookout.com in the last 24 hours is frustrating.

I understand it might be pedantic, and am in no way discounting the importance of this article, but Big South Fork is a National River and Recreation Area, not a National Park. The only NP in TN is Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

While I might still have his resume somewhere, consider these receipts (and it was early 2010)

And while people change and yada yada yada, this guy hasn't. He's a grifter through and through.

Up until a couple years ago, I still had a fucking burn scar on my hand because of this kid. Fuck him. And fuck the TN GOP.

There was a tiny closet just off the kitchen by the main bar. I told him I needed a word, brought him in private, and fired him on the spot. It was addition by subtraction, and the rest of the shift was better without him.

That is who the TN Republican party has chosen as one of their insiders.

His response was "yeah, I'm really hungry". This stupid sonofabitch has just committed a number of cardinal sins in the restaurant world. He put in an order for himself, with a special modification, during a dick-kicking busy service period. Restaurant experience or no, there was a lack of awareness

As soon as I do, who comes to get them, but Mr. Loftis himself. Cool, he's running food. Great. But then he takes one of the sweet potato fries & eats it. Right there on the pass. I am shook. In disbelief. Unsure that I saw what I just thought I did. "Michael" I ask, "are those...are those for you?"

Idk, 10ish minutes later, I go to pull them out and plate. But the side towel I grab happens to be damp (which I don't notice in the heat of things). I burn THE FUCK OUT OF MY HAND pulling these out of the oven. Shit happens. I dump them on a plate and put the plate & ticket in the window to be run

My background being in the BOH, I jump back on the line to help. Maybe 20 minutes in to me being back there, a ticket comes in for sweet potato fries with a special request that they be baked, not fried. Okay, fine. Single item ticket, easy to get knocked out and off the rail. Sweets go in the oven.

One Sunday brunch (our busiest day of the week, by far), both Michael and I were working. This was sometime within his first, month, maybe six weeks, of starting. Our kitchen is getting destroyed. Super backed up. Staff doing their best but tickets are creeping up toward an hour.

At some point we needed an assistant manager, and boy, the pickings were slim. Loftis applied, and even though his only experience was a brief stint as Starbucks, I hired him. Partly due to his...fit, with the culture. Partly due to the dismal applicant pool. Either way, my call and my fault.

Since @votegloriaj.bsky.social liked this skeet, I'll tell the story. Either late 2009 or early 2010, I took the job as GM at Maddonna's in East Nashivlle. I was young, a bit over my head, and my mom had just died, so I was also a bit of a train wreck as a human. Anyway,

From new Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar's acceptance speech tonight. This is the absolute BARE MINIMUM platform for any Democrat running for President in 2028.
