I had had bad bouts of vertigo the last few days with falling, and @petstains.bsky.social has been an absolute champ helping me, giving me meds and water, and keeping me company. (Also this new thick-line doodle style is something I can manage during the in-betweens when I'm not dizzy and it's fun)

It's @lykaioshusky.bsky.social ! Her bday was the 31st, and I got her her gift way early, so here is a drawing way late haha. I have been playing with thick lines and it's been fun!

I need to reanalyze myself and seem if demi-girl still fits. I still feel very femme, but also masc a lot, but I thought it couldn't be masculinity since I like dresses and other "women's" clothing, and I'm learning to like my body. And I think that's a silly reason to feel like I *have* to be femme

I can see that! For me I feel uncared for, like they weren't paying attention, or they don't want to say what they actually think (which anxiety brain feasts on). I feel like "that sucks I'm sorry" (for bad things) or "woah that's awesome" (for good things) convey they were listening and supportive

That makes sense. I think because of RSD, I think more about and read into words more. At the same time, I think there are much better stock responses to draw from that don't feel aloof/hurtful. And to be clear, I hate the phrases themselves, not the people who say them

Same, but I've learnt it's a good filter. I'm happy to weed-out people who don't want meaningful connection. People who *only* want shallowness can take it somewhere else. I think, for people who think they're "too much," it's time to start defining what's "not enough" from others instead

Freaggin thank you, I feel like no one else agrees with me on that first part. For the second, if someone is uncomfortable saying they will miss someone, then they don't actually miss that person. I hate liars worse than I hate these phrases. Why not say "aw it sucks you'll miss it, catch you later"

I hate the phrases "you'll be missed" and "I wish I had time for that." The first sounds like "*I* won't miss you, just *someone* will", and the second like "I'm so much busier than you." Ffs just say "I'll miss you" or "I wish I did that more." So many people say it, whyyy

Going to see my partner at the morgue today. They will be laying there, rigid, frigid, and still, eyes closed, in their favorite clothes. I know holding their cold, lifeless hand at the hospital prepared me a bit, and I know this is going to be painful anyway. I've seen others - it never gets easier
