Juraj Slafkovsky with his playoff hatty puck 🔥

One down and three to go. It will not be easy. But it’s far from impossible. I never thought Montreal could literally intimidate Tampa, but with Wifi and playoff Anderson, Tampa may have a problem.

People need to relax about Michael Hage. He was not going to have an impact this season no matter what. He'll be great when he gets here.
If you want to know how NOT to handle a young college player, see Pierre Gauthier's mismanagement of Louis Leblanc.
This would never happen with Kent Hughes.

My heart says Habs, but my brain says Tampa. I think the Habs are meeting them one year too early. On the other hand, what do I know!

That is funny and very factual.

Call of the Wilde: Montreal Canadiens win 7 straight, shade the New York Rangers 3-2 - Montreal | Globalnews.ca The Montreal Canadiens have won seven straight games, and with seven games remaining, a playoff spot is almost a certainty. Brian Wilde has more.

The line does it again. 49 for Caufield. 94 for Suzuki. Fowler strong.

The Wilde Cards is about the Selke favourite.

The Call Of The Wilde is written for Global Montreal.

It may come down to one outstanding skill.
1) Hutson - Eel soaked in Vaseline
2) Cole - can fit a puck in a puck-sized space

Boring old Montreal!

The Canadiens are too small, right?
They're aren't tough enough. Until they get bigger and tougher they can't win in the playoffs.

Bullshit.

There's more than one way to skin a cat. The hockey world is group think. A postseason goes one way so everyone decides it's the only way.

Bullshit.

I hope you’re right, but I have a feeling that once playoffs begin, other teams will take cheap shots at our smaller players. Will it work? I don’t know, but it does concern me.

None and yet!🙏🏾

I forgot, they also shot the driver!

Parked it, removed wheels and engine, and started painting it.

Being a CF Montréal fan is truly a vocation. They fall back 200% with a man up and a lead! I really don’t get the tactics, but it just doesn’t pass either the eye or smell test.
Result: 3-2 to 4-3 faster than you can say Yelp!

Will Laine ever wear the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge again?
If they make the playoffs, do they continue rotating players or settle on a squad and run with it?
Cheers!

There’s a definite traffic problem in front of the Habs net. Not analytical enough know if it’s a strategy problem, or simple lack of muscle.

Yep. If you don’t tune out the 24 hour a day, « expert » driven sports chatter, you go down the rabbit hole and never come out. Unlimited praise when they win, piss and vinegar when they lose. Like a rollercoaster in a horror movie. To quote the great CP31. « Chill out »!

Not feeling it tonight. I have a feeling Fowler will have to steal one.

Needed to be done. No big deal. He will still contribute eventually. Save him for the war!

Todd: Harsh decisions on horizon as Canadiens' rebuild gathers steam As Habs push for playoffs, there are problems with a couple of veteran wingers, which could mean sitting a certain heart-and-soul forward.

My column.
