Today a friend I previously really respected white-manned me about the Barbie movie and how it was unoriginal, and copied from another famous (Superhero) movie. He hasn’t even seen Barbie, but is taking his context from other superiority challenged white men. Super disappointed.

Sometimes it’s really hard to feel like you’re getting what you need while providing what they need. We’ve had a difficult summer as well, so I’m taking every win I can get at this point.

This is my year of doing shit I didn’t think I could do. I set a goal of reading 150 books, have just started a running program (I’ve never run before so this is wild), and found a therapist I actually like. I feel like I’m breathing again.

Me too. I’m actively trying to re-wire my brain but it’s taking a while lol.

It’s wild to come here and actually see my friends posts again. It feels like I’ve seen shattered bits for months, and never enough to be involved. Today I remembered how much I love Reylo and how great the community we have is. I missed the beauty of it all.

I can’t imagine coming into this every day. Bless and be blessed.
