My favourite cafe locally is Isetta Cafe, the BMW bubble-car themed cafe built in a midcentury modern building on an old service station. It is both excellent, and sometimes like 15 Citroens show up.

Current obsession: walking to the store yesterday I saw a metallic green E28 with Euro bumpers. Not close enough to see spec. Must track down.
mfw I work Angine et Poitrine into the opening sentence of an article about rebuilding the 787's four-rotor:
This is the only car on the market that feels anything like my much-missed old tuned Bugeye wagon, including the crappy interior. It's great.
just can't keep track of all these McLaren models

all right Goldiclocks
Cormac McCarthy: I like to write about suffering
Lotus: you rang?
I'm in Canada, so completely different vibe as there are so many ex-pats here. I know a guy who tows a 200mph Triumph Triple salt flats streamliner with a '50s RR Shadow. Nimbus not sure, but very probably around. There was a 1912 NSU at the last thing I went to. An Excelsior too.
We have a ton of cool Brit bikes in town, many of whom show up at the big show next month, but I have never been able to track down a Brough Superior, which is a bit of a white whale for me.
Quebec does have the highest percentage of Citroen ownership in North America.
Everyone: *politely relaxing*
Me, kicking down door: you guys Angine de Poitrine is rotary engine music!
I don't track mileages in things, but the variety of things the MX-5 excels at is legion. It makes almost any kind of driving better. Driving top down through Tokyo or on some gravel road in the Caribou with no one for miles, it's just aces. I'll absolutely have an ND when I don't need +2 for kids.
A gray Peugeot 604.
The one I drove was incredible. Maybe the best one on the planet.
Driving this DID NOT HELP
*chef’s kiss*
I really should work harder on nailing down a drive of a Kenmeri to complete the set. A tribute build would be close enough.
The guy who built the Paper Bag Princess is currently at the Goodwood Members Meeting with his kid, never having travelled outside Alberta except for a trip to the US once. Not sure I’ve ever been happier to see someone rewarded for their talent.
Being charitable: barn find spec. I bet AMR was too obscure by itself.
Is is an Alan Mann Racing attempt?
A Hot Wheels Lotus Cortina
I really have a hankering for a Fast Ford at some point
Yeah, a lot of the 2000s Euro stuff sold into Japan was LHD by weird market preference (including all RS, M, and AMG) so it’s popular here. The Delta owner I know also has a Shamal.
We never got them here but there are a bunch around, mostly because of the JDM 15 year import law
I mean, boosted Lancias tend to do that too!
yep noted in alt text
A black Lancia Delta Integrale
This shop gets to work on plenty of interesting stuff.
A black Velocette motorcycle
This Velocette has been parked out front of the Japanese grocery store multiple times we’ve gone.
A set of fondue plates from a company called Trudeau
Apparently all those guys in Dodge Rams were mad at a fondue company?
I have driven so many Miatas.
