I watched it the other week and 'The Car'(1977) which is essentially a remake of 'Duel'Even the lead character,Josh Brolin, looked like Dennis Weaver.
The other main difference is that the car was going after anybody whilst the truck was only after Weaver.

Finland did both of those.

1 afternoon,party in this big old rambling house in Bristol.My brothers r'billy band were playing but gtr was sick.Somebody knew John Perry who lived nearby so they got him.
They played 'Pipeline' for about an hour.😅

About 20yrs ago I was working in a building supplies yard.Clearing up one day I found what I thought was a piece of soggy cardboard.

Picked it up,rinsed them out,put them in the washing machine and bingo.

Good piece of editing.
They filmed the take off bit first as they could hear the countdown.They then filmed the first longer piece of him walking along.

No,his hair was darker and his features were thinner.

Lived in Peru for 4 1/2 yrs.
2 in Arequipa and 2 1/2 in the Colca Valley.
The whole environment(landscape & arcitecture) was always impressive & v. difficult to take for granted;
the altiplano so still & quiet,the desert,the salt lake,the volcanoes,huge beaches,buildings,terraces etc.
Great place.

We had a few beauties in town today.

On the flipside you get some ancient grafitti.This ELVIS in Wales has been there since 1962.
I drove past there loads when at Aber Uni,eventually got round to getting a pic in 1995

Plus a Nick Walker in Bristol from 2007,now gone.
