Jamie and Cedric behind the scenes
Not that we haven’t shared it before , but I think it’s apt to share the wide of the stills that Jamie shared. And a behind the scenes photo I took.

A little update on The Second Circle for those interested: We’re picture locked and working on the sound and score. We’ll do the color grade last, and then we will be finished. 🥹
We wanted to kick off this month with a special message about what we aim to do as filmmakers and a company. Personally, I think we have done a decent job at living up to this thus far, but we do hope to continue growing and maintaining a safe environment for everyone we work with.

To all of the women we’ve worked with and hope to work with in the future—tagged, pictured, or not—we are forever grateful and appreciative of all that you do.
We strive to keep our casts and crews as safe and comfortable as possible and to continually do better, affording those who work with us the humanity we ourselves have not always been granted, and establishing sustainable community bonds that will span our careers.

March is Women’s History Month. As a production company founded and operated by women, we set out to make our sets as inclusive and as diverse as possible because we ourselves have been shutout, overlooked, harassed before in a variety of settings and by a variety of different people.
Congratulations to @jamiealvey.bsky.social for winning Best Actress at 13horror.com’s Short Film Contest for her role of Orla in “Your Husband Was a Good Man!”
The scene I discuss in depth specifically in the interview is this one.
This lovely interview came out last month. I talk a lot about working on “The Second Circle” and finding joy in collaboration.

I’ve been meaning to share this here, but better late than never, right? I got to do a CanvasRebel interview recently. Catch me talking costuming and conceptuals for Bystanders and @loveandhorrorprod.bsky.social shorts, writing, body image, and more.

I said dichotomy like sixty times while editing tonight.
@jamiealvey.bsky.social has a stunner on her hands. 💅🏼

We’re finishing up another round of editing for “The Second Circle” soon. Everything is coming together beautifully. To celebrate, here’s a look at some of the production design.

And a few more just for good measure.
We have been hard at work on editing “The Second Circle” but would like to share a sneak peek with you all.
We’re eternally proud of this little film and this amazing team we assembled to make it. Thank you all so much for the recognition! 🖤
We have a little bit of “Your Husband Was a Good Man” news today! We’ve won Best Horror Film in the Featurette category out of Wallachia International Film Festival! To say it’s a nice surprise to wake up to on a Sunday morning is an understatement.
