The Beyonce and Aaliyah comparisons are always disingenuous and irritating to me is because they always sound like they’re rooted in bitterness and trying to humble/minimize artistry which has been on display for literally 20+ years.

So it’s okay for her to lie, but not okay for her to be questioned and called out for her lies?? She’s a grown woman, she knew what she was doing

This might be the final nail in Buzbee’s law career

A countersuit was always coming from Jay, but man, if you're gonna sue someone this high-profile, and know you're lying, and your attorney knows you're lying, you better have an airtight strategy.

Discovery is gonna be messy. Cause Jay can afford to go to the mat w/ Buzbee and his client for this.

See how it’s dismissed and no one blew that up?

You should probably follow @meghanncuniff.bsky.social if you want to read the legal docs. Jay Z is still suing Buzbee. bsky.app/profile/megh... It would be weird to continue his lawsuit if a settlement was reached. The whole reason Jay Z went public is because he did not want to settle.

Jay-Z bout to own a law firm

Jayz said yall thought I paid that settlement nah im on yall ass now

One day we’ll have a conversation on how a lot of yall treat accusations like convictions and then disappear when things go the opposite direction

Jay-Z aside, Buzbee’s sketchy tactics seem more concerned with self-promotion rather than what it is best for the victims, and now this incident will provide Diddy an opportunity to cast doubt on Buzbee’s clients

This is for the people who claim he paid them off or settled the case. If he had paid them off then there’ll be no reason for him to still take them to court, because that would’ve been in the agreement

Because if you put in a lawsuit that your client had a whole in person conversation with a celebrity at this event and it’s proven said celebrity was on tour in a different time zone, & that her father drove 10hrs round trip to pick her up which the dad said didn’t happen that’s a very big problem.

If there was a settlement Tony of all people would say so! The alleged victim’s tale was Swiss cheese. She talked to people who weren’t there? 😳 as a parent I would remember picking up my 13 yo daughter at the ass crack of dawn! SMH

That story fell apart quickly

I don’t jump to cape for men especially wealthy ones but that story was some bullshit from the jump 😭

I didn't realise it was still going on, I thought it was quickly realised the lady in question's story didn't make much sense. She said she called her dad to pick her up and her own dad couldn't recall such a thing.

Homie knew he had no case. The apologies better be as loud as the disrespect 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I received several news alerts about this case when it first broke, and I bet I will not receive a single one now. Smh

Should have never been filed in the first place. Lawyering 101 is if you are going to note an in-person convo in your lawsuit that your client supposedly had on the incident date, you should check and make sure that person was a) at the event and b) not on tour in a different time zone states away

The lawsuit against Jay-Z was dismissed WITH PREJUDICE, which means it can't be refiled. There was either not enough evidence, conflicting evidence, or the accusation was false. Jay-Z maintains his innocence.

This case was obvious bullshit from the jump

Hov shouldn’t stop until Buzbee is begging for oxygen.

Mess.

The whole point of this being public is his claim that they attempted to extort him with false claims.
Thats why he said take it public.

So he did irreparable damage to his name so he could then pay them anyways.

That makes total sense 👍🏾

Something tells her guys.
He didn’t pay them when they approached him before they added his name to the frivolous suit.

Instead he allowed his name to be besmirched, just so he could pay them off afterwards.

All of this makes sense as long as you ignore logic and facts.

There’s something so evil about how all of this played out and seeing people dancing on the allegations because of how much y’all hate the man, y’all didn’t care about the alleged victim. You just wanted a take down of Jay Z and Beyoncé by extension.

1 year ago 6 2 1 0

Not to mention harassing his wife for months on some bullshit.

Tony Buzbee purposely waited until a day before The Lion King premiere, Blue’s big night to add Jay’s name to a lawsuit he’d already filed.

He ruined her big debut and Walahi I will never forget that shit.

Jane Doe gets to go on with her life in anonymity whilst successfully smearing that man’s name.
Shit is crazy to me.

Her own father didn’t back up her stories and people still were adamant and refused to even entertain the possibility that this whole thing was frivolous and an obvious witch hunt.

1 year ago 1 1 0 0

The people that have been calling him a pedo for months now, will they now stop?

This is literally what I was talking about.
Letting lawsuits and legal cases play out before forming concrete opinions.

But nah, so many of y’all were thirsty for this shit.
It’s so sick to me.

Good. It seemed like extortion from the beginning. Hes not perfect, but this accusation just did not make sense once the accuser admitted there were parts she couldn’t recall or mistakes in the story.
