Have they tried sending more tone deaf text messages?

A great gray owl is visible in a gap between dark green pine needles, perched on a large tree branch and looking out of frame slightly askew.

When I was a college student in NH early in Ayotte's time as AG, this was the big play then--trying (unsuccessfully, I might add) to stop students from registering and voting the Nov federal election by mincing words around domicile and residency. Nice to see they're still stymied 22 years later.

@ottergoose.net grabbed some things off your wishlist. More important than ever to have as many eyes on this as we can. I appreciate your efforts.

I think it's best for my mental health to stay the hell away from the internet today.

But, now and forever, fuck ICE

I spotted its sister ship, 30491, shortly after I arrived into Christchurch last month (less exciting phone photo):

You know though, if there's anything nice about this, it DOES provide some answers to "how the hell did we get here?"

Yes, but not now--most days traverses south/southwest after leaving Helsinki to avoid Russia & Ukraine, before picking its way along through the 'stans and China.

That Finnair flight has to take such a long and convoluted route to connect those two cities, too!

Same! But make sure you're getting his newsletter if you aren't already--fun to get some stuff rounded up from the internet each week

Yup! This is solid. Often in my backpack I carry a small sling with my iPad and some headphones. I pull that out when boarding and it joins me under the seat.

Full agreement here. If my backpack is my only carry on, then it's my only carry on and goes in the bin like any other yahoo. It's not my problem you brought your too-big, triple-expander bag and 6 things of smokes and hooch from duty free.

This one is at least invalid since there can't be more than 2 seats between you and an aisle. But man you could get a premium on those single seats.

This is the greatest and most underrated travel move (or to just bring a UK plug) on just about any plane, particularly economy situations where the plug on the seatback or under the seats might be angled...US plugs just hate staying in, UK plug is king.

This is the most American infographic. Can y'all add in a few school buses or elephants to really help the sense of scale?

I'm guessing it's because that plane in the image was entirely too big.

Still a nice chunk left for me (in gold), but this has been a pretty superb year for travel on my end. A great distraction from the dumpster fire that is everything else.
