Colorado prepares for second wave of reintroduced wolves as capture operation begins in British Columbia Wildlife officials began work to bring 15 more gray wolves to Colorado two days after ranchers’ request to stop reintroduction was denied

Work to capture up to 5 gray wolves to be released in Colorado began in British Columbia on Friday. The wolves will be examined to make sure they are healthy, outfitted with tracking collars, + transported by plane and released as quickly as possible.

In total, the operation could last 2 weeks.
