Pacific Ocean Satellite View image. This is a picture of the entire earth taken from a very high orbit. The atmosphere appears as a very thin white line on the edge. It is centred on the Pacific ocean and only land visible is the Hawai'ian Islands at the top and New Zealand to the far left. The ocean is really big. There isn't much in it.

Tom, this is without question one of my favourite representations. It is also the map that made me realise WHY NZ disappears so often. It's just not convenient to include us. When you do, everything else gets MUCH smaller because you have to include the Pacific Ocean.

The Pacific is SO BIG!

World map divided into quadrants A through H. The centre point for the array is the middle of Africa. You are told: You can only pick 1 area to eat from forever. This is a variant of the meme where the centre point was Italy and the section containing NZ and AU was actually unequivocally the best as it included Japan, South Korea, big chunks of China, Thailand, and Malyasia. It also had a tiny bit of Italy. Really unbeatable. This version is shockingly bad.

Map of the actual size of each country

World map that looks like it was spray painted in black on a wall using decals that were subsequently peeled away. Not bad except the usual Mercator distortions making it look like all the land is in Greenland and Alaska. Oh and there is no NZ South Island.

Picking up where we left off several years ago, here's a nice illustration of a Where's New Zealand? map. I genuinely can't tell if NZ googles google more or if someone was trying to scribble NZ out and makes this a #mapswithoutnz
