On June 26 we lost one of the brightest, warmest, kindest people I've ever met. Their partner and step-child have been left without much time for bereavement or much to support funerary costs.

Reminder to self: make time for correspondence in my schedule. (Correspondence: a word which here means "replying to discord conversations that I myself started days/weeks/?? ago, and then forgot to continue because ADHD is a memory black hole.)

Finally trying out MH Rise. So far I've enjoyed it! The speed of getting on hunts and the varying weapon looks are awesome. Not sure how I feel about wirebugs yet, but leaning positive. Not a fan of HP/stamina being capped by spiribugs tho.

Everything good that happened in my writing career happened because someone, normally another writer, helped me. Suggested me for something, put in a good word, and so on. The idea was always that you help others and they help others in their turn. It's not a win or lose game.

My entire prose career so far has been due to one person—yes, another writer—recommending me to an editor, who suggested me to another editor and so forth. I try to pay that forward wherever and whenever I possibly can
