While a candidate, @mayor.nyc.gov pledged to commit 0.5% of the city’s budget to public libraries.

Unfortunately, Mayor Mamdani has broken this promise in his preliminary FY27 budget, released yesterday, where he allocated 0.39% to libraries.

This amount is well below the promised 0.5%

I am just confused by that last line which makes it seem like Pakistan is switching out gas imports for domestic. Maybe the LNG in Pakistan is just a really tiny sliver of the energy pie? I don't know, and my googling has been inconclusive.

Just want to double check my understanding, second to last line "...could save Pakistan up to $100 million per month in foreign exchange and reduce system congestion, allowing local exploration companies to increase domestic gas output."

Are they saving from renewables? Or switching to local gas?
