I do love my parents, and they've come around more, and they don't make comments on my weight anymore (to my knowledge), and they're at least outspoken queer/autistic allies. But I think they would be less disappointed if I were thinner.

Seeing as my only vice is good food, and my mom has been smoking since she was 14, and is a functional alcoholic, and my dad is a workaholic who will work himself to his own grave? I think I'm good.

And Dad is a man who has broken his body with construction, and is still doing that, so he's not the pinnacle of health either. No ovaries, no PCOS, no ability to get pregnant, no universe in which he can empathize.

And also Mom was tiny and skinny until she had kids, and I'm never having kids (which she is weirdly okay with, probably because I married a woman, and I guess that makes it okay to be childfree maybe? Idk), so I don't have an excuse I guess.

I could trauma dump about how, when I was 3, a psychic told my mom I would have problems with blood sugar, and instead of doing yearly blood glucose tests, I was put on various trendy crash diets. Got diagnosed with PCOS at 19 anyway. And got/stayed fat.

It's not so much zhat it went away, but I need to see a specialist to determine if what happened was one thing (migraine wizh aura) zhat prevents me from taking a medication, or another thing (tumor? Diabetes? Stroke? Ozher?) And also other stuff may or may not be related idk who knows haha.
