I spent $9 on a bagel sandwich that was hard as a rock this morning, the sausage was weird, and it desperately needed sauce of some kind, any kind. Panera used to have good food.

Cool. But who has a pile of yellow balls that need thrown in to a container?
๐
Yes, we can.
I recently saw about 25 of those black vultures gathering near the side of a small road. No traffic around, so I could watch them. They did want their photo taken, but we had a great visit. They are some fierce looking characters, man.

Then we stopped here for a moment. The pelicans were gone.
Lunch at the park with a book. OH! A brown crab jumped on my ankle. Not sure who was more freaked out, me or the new friend. Too shy for photo, it scurried under the pipe.
Saw a post from a guy complaining about people who make their hot tea in the microwave. Hey, man, sometimes, you have to do whatever you can to get through the day.
(Takes a sip of hot tea from the microwave.)
This is by far not my worst sin.
Oh I had that album and Derry stole it. That went way back to Old Main Street at Larry's place. I know Larry died, Derry moved away (with my JA album).
Found some new friends on Bluesky. Wishing you all Good Karma. I have written so much today that my neck hurts from sitting in this position. Taking a quick break to release the tension and sit back realizing how much there is left to do on this section yet tonight.
I found genealogy records of more of my ancestors from the Netherlands and Norway. The came into New Amsterdam in the early 1600s.
Cranberry tea today. It's cool and rainy in the swamp.
One of the other things about being retired is that it doesn't matter either way.
Where did this pretty leaf come from? I found it on the floor where I have walked many times earlier and didn't notice. Very dry so didn't blow in because it is raining outside. No other live beings around. I think it brings Good Karma.

Wonderful visit with the grandson. Great conversation about Star Wars trivia. He told me he hadn't brushed his teeth in two months. He was kidding, just wanted to see my reaction. He thinks up ways to make me laugh.
Speaking of openings, have you noticed that manufacturers are making jars and drink bottlers harder to open? I keep a chainsaw ready.
I found a cool record of more ancestors who came from Norway to New Amsterdam in 1625. They were ship's carpenters and recruited by the Dutch West India Company because they knew how to render pitch from pine trees to be used in the shipping industry. I love these stories!
RIP Dickey Betts and his red guitar.
Thanks for the music.
Woman at CVS drive through had small handwritten sign said Stay Wild in back window. Driving ancient Falcon with serious engine trouble. She looked like Darlene Snell on Ozark. Waving her arms frantically. Threw money in box and tried to drive off but car sputtering. I gave her a wide berth.

I'm going to back to bed.
This day is not working yet.
Scythe by Stonemaier Games is great. We play the board game and the online game on Steam. So many variables, easy rules to process, fast moving.
Whew, some stuff was written and edited.
Not that much.
Oh?
How many pages are done on this part?
Two.
Get back to work.
Wherever you go, there you are.

Dolphins came to visit me! Two ospreys diving for fish in their wake. Their nest is huge; I wonder if they have babies waiting for that fish. A friendly lizard creeps up the corner stretching his neck to watch the dolphins and ospreys with me.
I would like to know Samuel L. Jackson's reaction when he saw that mess by Pete.
Full speed ahead. Glad we are all back.
