Wow, that was quicker than many had expected.
Busk when it's Christmas, you only busk when it's Christmas

Okay I’ve been busy all day so I missed this but….
Hahahahahahahaha! This is very silly.
(And I wear Allbirds shoes every day)
Wild that Uber was one of the leaders in R&D in this space for a while, but then took its eye off the ball to appear sensible to the stock market, and is now racing to catch up.
Uber commits $10bn to robotaxis in strategy shift
Given I do a lot of work in the quantum space these days, this wears an interesting one to write…
An easier path to working with quantum computers: Qoro Quantum wants to tap into growing demand for quantum computing.
incredible how low the bar has gotten, that it feels like a genuine ray of light when a terrible far right politician doesn't pretend he won an election he lost, isn't it

But AI can still read the links if social platforms can’t pull through an image and some metadata
Blocking access to images for social cards would be… ridiculous? I shared a Bloomberg link earlier and it was a mess of a link card.

Annoying car finance compensation ads every five seconds (pretty much) might be what finally gets me onto YouTube Premium
Interesting look at the post-American world order we’re stumbling into.
I have zero desire for a Cybertruck but I do sometimes imagine the hilarious impracticality that would ensue.
Not sure if it’s ridiculous, but my mum was very strict about avoiding chewing gum, to the point where I still have a visceral reaction to it today. Can’t stand the stuff because my mum drilled that into me from a young age.
The Mill called me during their investigation to see if I’d heard of him. I hadn’t, but I laughed out loud on the phone when I heard his claim of plans for a £2.5 billion IPO this year.
I remember being in London for an interview at TVC for a work placement on the O Zone (which I didn’t get because I forgot the Verve had broken up that week) and ads for Look At Me were on practically every surface in the city.

Expecting Yoko to shout “introduce me to Gladstone!” at any moment.
Starting the day by listening to John and Yoko’s Two Virgins album. It sounds like an extended version of the Blue Jam “Cackle my Gladys” sketch.
At this moment, America has a clear choice about what sort of country it wants to be. There is no going back.
A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!
Trump just openly stating his intention to commit genocide at this point: "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again."
My favourite memory from 1992 is being on a ferry where they were playing ‘Why’ on deck. They faded out the “this boat is sinking” line, which my brother and I still find funny to this day.
I don't think I could be an astronaut because I couldn't keep from saying something to really freak everybody out when I came back from behind the Moon.
Lunar orb showing mostly the far side which has many more craters and less dark patches

LOOK HOW DIFFERENT THE FAR SIDE IS!

...the real line makes a lot more sense in the context of the song
It's taken 30 years, but I've finally realised that in Wannabe, the Spice Girls sing "Make it last forever", not "Making love's forever"
Looking through one of the four windows of the Orion spacecraft, a tiny crescent Earth is illuminated against the blackness of space and grows smaller as the crew journeys closer to the Moon. Part of the window edge is visible; the rest is darkness. [Alt-text slightly revised from ESA/NASA version]
We are so, so small. #Artemis
