LOL I'm blocked too
Fucking thin skinned baby man.
Ironically people have been banned apparently for blocking members of the bluesky team but they can just block you.
Oh my god, bsky Why blocked everyone on an "AI hater" blocklist
Fuck me thats funny
Heres my thing:
Blocking a bunch of people who annoyed you when interacting? Makes sense.
Having a large blocklist in general? A-ok
Subscribing to a "AI meanies >:(" blocklist cuz everyone keeps criticizing your work on the website you made?
Bitchmade. Enjoy your actual echo chamber, infant

We have a chance of removing the Online Safety Act!
Any UK residents, PLEASE take the time to fill out the whole form. If we want to remove ID verification on websites that actually don't need it, we need to take action NOW!
A cool thing about this is that most of the world would probably be required to stop using windows or mac because if I were any other government I would not approve the use of any OS made by an American company even if they claimed to remove this
Translation: they are proposing a bill that says you cannot under any circumstances use a computer for any purpose without allowing the United States government continuous monitoring and a backdoor
New US Congress bill proposal requires all operating system providers to verify ages

I QRP but also putting this in replies:
Here's some actionable info.
It's in committee, meaning we can kill it before it ever reaches the floor (most bills die in committee and never reach the floor)
These are the current members, if they're your rep, call them.
Call your rep even if theyre not on the list too, but obviously if you see a name you recognize as yours, nows the time to step up
Re: 'H.R. 8250' "Parents Decide Act". This bill wants to force age verification on the operating system level.
If you see one of your reps listed below, CALL THEM so we can kill this in committee

A lot of our big “we’re gonna hold big tech accountable” bills actually hand them + the government unprecedented power to track, censor, and deplatform internet users—and would require us to link our identities to everything we do online, meaning no more privacy. Greatly reducing opposition to them
I may not be able to do anything in person, but I need an excuse to do stuff with my mutuals. If either of you have a steam account and want to hop on a game with me, just let me know.

I have a few slots open!!!
A quick heads up; The UK government is currently holding a consultation on the Online Safety Act. The consultation lasts until the end of next month.
Please fill it out if you live in the UK and/or share it around to get more eyes on it.

If youre a UK resident you have a prime opportunity to push back against the Online Safety Act and online surveillance. PLEASE take a moment to fill this out and share it around
yeah it is critical that dems win the senate
very healthy system of government we have
I think we really need to start taxing the shit out of these motherfuckers.
Bluesky staff are masters at the own goal.
Gov. Bill Lee signed a resolution defining family as a man, a woman, and their children, a move critics say targets LGBTQ+ households.
I am a gay dad and this is FUCKED UP
this is what we trannies were warning the LGB without the T crowd about.
our enemies have a Project, and no queerness survives it.
this is why we DON'T collaborate, and if you come for one of us, you come for all of us. infinite solidarity between all oppressed peoples.
Yeah, fair. I'm just going with the stuff I have the most experience with.
Record companies are *the* biggest example of that.
Tin foil hat: I do think video game companies are putting older soundtracks on Spotify as a loophole to get revenue from playthroughs/streams/etc on YouTube. Like, sure, it's their right or whatever. But I don't think many are clamoring to blast Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex on their commute.
Tomodachi is beautiful
