Also no customizability with private battles is really unfortunate, I want to set weather or terrain or just have more influence on how the battle starts, it would also be cool to see events that highlight this fact, like sun being constantly active!

The bad:
-The item selection is REALLY bad like theres like 4 really good items and everything else
-no 6v6 is really unfortunate for folks who prefer longer battles
You are playing from behind if you're completely f2p, not being able to use any of the kalos starter or floette's mega is unfortunate!

The good:
-The mon selection is interesting, lot of old powerful megas mixed in with the new blood of today
-Animations are really good
-If you have regular mons its a cinch to train them up, and plus you can still use titles
-Items aren't prohibitively expensive unless you wanna buy everything
