Recent shaped glass piece made with enameled kiln glass, engraving and mirror. It could be a raindrop, a teardrop, a rainbow reflected in a drop of water, a mirror of transformation from tears to colors of the spectrum of light. It’s all the same thing really 19” x 17”

This is a closeup of a larger 24” diameter glass piece I’m working on. I am painting in enamels that get fired in the kiln through many layers of painting. The imagery is inspired by a photograph I took that I have abstracted to some degree. I’ll post as it develops. I’m super excited about this one

Omg this takes my breath away. Such a beautiful thing to have happened. I am so glad to know this. I grew up near the cathedral and used to go paint the building and it’s gardens in the summers plein air style. Thx for posting this
