Ratings for the shows IWTV 7.6 on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes - 99% with critics and 78% with audience. Mayfair Witches 6.2 on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes - 59% with critics and 53% with audience. Talamasca 6.5 on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes - 61% with critics and 67% with audience.
For science ... Perhaps having committed to Season 3 of MW AMC are going ahead with that and cutting their losses with Talamasca. Or maybe cast not available for another season ...

Anne Rice made it clear that exchanging body fluids between vampires was erotically charged and represented the height of intimacy. It was a metaphor for sex that worked well for the time, although I do like the way the AMC show depicts sexual activity in a not too explicit way, keeping it erotic.
Same here - long time fan of the Vampire Chronicles, most of which I read as they were published. I prefer to write character & plot driven stories, both to read & write. Vampires are inherently erotic and sensual creatures, and when I do write sex scenes they have to 'fit' the narrative.

Ianto's shrine in Cardiff Bay - Mermaid Quay. The site of Torchwood's secret entrance to their base, the Hub, via Ianto's tourist office. Made into a shrine when Ianto was killed by the aliens (and lack of gas mask) in Children of Earth. There are always a range of notes, pictures, flowers and tokens of love left there for Ianto and the show
The shrine in August 2009 - messages, flowers and underwear adorn the grill, a banner wishing Ianto an happy birthday. Short female with bag on her shoulder on the right hand side paying her respects to Ianto Jones.
Customer Notice (pinned to the outside of the shrine - because tourists and locals were confused, thinking someone had died there).
