MD sues Feds to prevent use of warehouse in Wash. County for immigration detention. The lawsuit, charges that ICE bought the warehouse without required environmental reviews, without public notice and without any discussions with state or local officials.
MD House of Delegates approved SB 245 and HB 444 - Public Safety - Immigration Enforcement Agreements—Prohibition. Passage of these bills will prevent local law enforcement from assisting federal immigration authorities in rounding up undocumented migrants.
