Out of possession

Honestly, the OOP was crap last season. I assumed that losing Heitinga was an issue. It was not!
I think that Liverpool knew Klopp would take over but wanted a break. Honestly, I would not hire an interim head coach to just replace Rodgers. I disliked and still dislike him passionately.
Liverpool kept Rodgers longer than they should because they knew that Klopp agreed to takeover after his break.
You know my viewpoint. Slot will not be here at the end of the season. A new head coach will take over.
I made sure that I did not include the international games, Europa League games, Carabao Cup games, some FA game cups, and dead rubber Champions League games. I believe that my math is correct or close to be correct.
love Alisson, but his kicking will not improve, and I don’t think that his shot shopping will improve either. His availability is a problem. After the 2022-23 season, Alisson missed 42 games in all competitions.
If Jaros tore his ACL in February, he is at least out until November. Actually, if Alisson leaves, which frankly, it is time because his availability is an issue, Pesci takes over Alisson’s spot. It can work work until January.
This year, he only changed it once. Slot has the capabilities to do, but he refuses to do it; therefore, he believes his way and nothing else. Additionally, his OOP system is super crap.
1. I did not know how else to say it. I apologize how I wrote my post, but I will not apologize for the purpose of the post.
2. Slot still implemented his pressing structure because there were games that teams could easily play through us. Slot at least changed it multiple times.
Apparently, journalists and fans forgot what Mac Allister said!
How does Jota passing away is linked with Slot having absolutely no clue on how to set us up properly?
What is the link between Jota and Slot being one of the worst managers in the league when it comes to pressing and out of possession structure?
I don’t want the club to waste another preseason with Slot in charge.
I don’t.
I don’t!
In addition, no one is going to say that Slot will be fired but he needs to stay to help the club qualify Champions League. That would be stupid.
This stupid narrative will continue until the end of the season.
The hierarchy is telling English journalists what to say. Liverpool will tell English media their true intentions unless they want to tell them. Axel Hiesse and Roman Molina have been consistent in their reporting.
Actually, they will. I hope and think that the hierarchy will sign more HG players rather than Wharton and promote Chambers to be backup LB/LWB.
I hope that Woodman plays well on Saturday, but I know that he is brought to be 3rd choice keeper. He may be 2nd choice next season because Jaros will still be out, and I don’t know if the hierarchy will waste non-HG spot for Pesci.
I've seen some people saying "I prefer a keeper who's good with his feet and okay at shot stopping." Do you know what you get from that combination? Onana! I prefer a keeper who's a really good shot stopper the rest is an added bonus!
STOP BLOODY BASHING MAMARDASHVILI!
I definitely think that Slot will be gone. The hierarchy will not be keeping Slot unless their replacement is Julian Nagelsmann, and I want the club to waste another preseason with Slot in charge.
I probably should have just asked what it does mean.
1. My bad!
2. Liverpool take low quality shots due to Slot’s poor attacking set up.
In the parts of the season, Slot abandoned all attacking intent and focuses to not lose than to win.
I don’t buy the media briefs that the hierarchy is backing Slot.
This season, the injuries were mild. Slot just refuses to utilize the full squad. You can’t replace every player in one window.
David Ornstein works for the Athletic.
Unfortunately, players have to be moved on!!
People need to stop listening to journalists’ words and follow the club’s actions. Where is Slot’s contract?
Mamardashvili has been solid. Alisson has been picking up more injuries after the 2022-23 season. Availability is also important.
Oops!
Grammar error!
And they probably have one eye on the FA semifinal
Right now, there is a lot of noise but no official action. Let’s just wait and see. We assumed many things but we were wrong with our assumptions what the club will do.
