Had a lot of fun trying my hand at recreating some of that classic John Blanche style using the Masterclass sets from @thearmypainter.bsky.social - the one 'outside' paint I allowed myself was Plate Mail Metal for highlights. Not sure I quite hit Blanchitsu heights, but that was a great exercise!

My newest rendition of my Heretic Priest! When Khyan of the Eighth Circle found the Armor of Cobar during our campaign I knew it was the perfect excuse to redo my leader. The main body is from a Soulblight Gravelords hero with lots of various Trench Crusade accoutrements added on.

I painted up some of the new Highland Miniatures zombies the other night as test minis. This is a super quick scheme that’s mostly just a zenithal primed, Speedpaint, and an all over drybrush. It’s mean to be fast and look good as a big group cause you know you’ll need a whole horde.
Eighteen years in, The Army Painter is still refusing to grow up, & we put together our silliest outtakes & bloopers to prove it.
