Being a perfectionist is painful, but DAYUM it brings solid results over a long time 🔥
Continuing my anatomy studies and translating them straight into my V3 body, as I gradually learn each muscle group I add it onto the base body.

Adding realistic muscle systems to my client's avatars.
Thanks to InTheAbs amontwolf and HellJumper741 for the chance!

Chances are I'll need to redo all of the previous lore.
Locations are still good though, so, beh..
8/🧵
Neat locations in Norlod include:
× The Shivering Peaks
So cold the winds freeze off the mountains sideways.
× The Severed Hills
As the name, tends to happen when gods go to war.
× Boreal Glacier
It has a constant glow. As if Auroras had been absorbed, and trapped within.
7/🧵| (...) the Bryvý, it could still fire. If only limiting its range.
Its shots were strong, able to pierce ice walls like snow.
It held Norlod's borders, freed Roth, and fought on the ice shelves of Ørkeis, in the wars for Nox.
6/🧵
The Wulport 87 was crucial to both Norlod's and Roth's sovereignties.
West Wrypia originally sold Bryvý's to both, but it was unable to withstand the true north's harsh winters.
It was a single shot, powered by Kyȯr, a fire stone.
A problem in the cold, but unlike (...)
5/🧵
Being the bad boot of Norlod for centuries, however, leads to resentment.
In later years they would once more go behind the west's back, and allow southerners to cross and mine for Nox.
Thus, in the end of all, the east was dissolved.
4/🧵| (...) were beaten back into submission.
Some leaders, more tainted, were executed. Others faced either banishment, or the chance to regain trust by in turn betraying Emberon.
Yet the eastern flag would forever be the one of Dishonor.
Losing the right to bear the swords.
3/🧵| With sieges from the south, and fearing Emberon's growing might, Norlod's eastern clans switched sides...
Had it not been for Rothians risking their lives across the borders of the northen passage, to bring aid, Norlod would've been lost.
But after years, the traitors (...)
2/🧵| This is the source of the wars.
Disputes over the sea, the lakes, the farmlands.
The old clans fought endlessly.
Then later the Emberon Empire walled up the east.
The north was locked in. Desperate.
So it all bled, toward the Southern Isles and Seor's Canal
1/🧵
Norlod borders the Northen Passage, a stretch of ocean that rivals the Rothian Sea in dangerosity.
Neither passages could be crossed for millennia. The currents too strong, the winds too rough, too cold.
Only could once metal ships appeared, with new methods of propulsion.
Norlod 🧵
As mentioned in prior posts, both Norlos and Rothians protected magical beings throughout the wars.
Its riddled with mountains, glaciers and dense forests.
Huge caverns. Thick ice walls. Harsh winters.
Easily defendable from outsiders
16/🧵
No one shows off their magic in the north anymore.
The Lieuchemars are few.
Everyone and everything fled, or now hides.
15/🧵
Magic wielders and Morrens had a hard time fighting the armies, as magic had become volatile.
It had become, well, unwieldy. Chaotic.
Inconsistent and dangerous.
All further fueling the hysteria.
And many dared not defend themselves, fearing they'd hurt innocent bystanders.
14/🧵
Millions who could wield magic were killed.
Or had their hands chopped.
Even Morrens, those who had helped save the world in the last era, and protected the kingdoms in the next, were now on death row.
With almost none surviving the war, as most were on the frontline.
13/🧵
The west side's native population was forced north, and almost lost a creature they had as pet... The Lýni.
Royalists loved their soft white fur. And hunted them.
Luckily Roth didn't fall, so most were saved...
12/🧵
The fauna was devastated. Many plants and animals that only lived in specific areas were gone.
Anything too big was gone. Including those that flew.
The Black Frost, a huge bird of prey, is now only -rumored- to live on Blakrost. Never seen.
11/🧵
Many beings that couldn't flee or blend in society hid in the Lieuchemars. And they were all burnt...
"Monsters" that came too close to civilization were marked for death.
With hunters being sent after them.
Even if they had only come out starving, to feed their young.
10/🧵
For centuries to come these Lieuchemars would be ravaged, to mine the stones bellow.
The most eastern side of the north, past Emberon, was almost entirely Lieuchemar. And they burnt it all.
The east is a wasteland.
And I said almost, because there were many villages.
9/🧵
My world has areas called Lieuchemars.
Forests or other "cursed" with magic. Prompting rapid evolution in its fauna.
Many in the north were burnt, to access the source of those "curses".
Magical stones or substances beneath the ground...
8/🧵
And all for worse, since the last era, with the decay of magic the eastern volcanoes of Emberon had been awaking one by one.
Slowly covering the lands in ash.
Forcing its kingdoms outwards. Leading to more wars. A crumbling empire, lashing out. Blaming magic for its death.
7/🧵
Many bled to save magical beings.
But the northern war didn't stay north for long.
With many fleeing through the Frontier, armies followed.
It's then that the underground river that connected many cities of the Frontier was blown up. Removing drinkable water from millions.
6/🧵
And they did find protection there, in the true north.
The east, and the world in general, were shattered during those times.
More than ever before.
With friends betraying friends, and foe becoming ally.
It's in those early years that Noria as we know it was formed.
5/🧵
Cities proud on magic were reduced to rubble.
Including cities that then tried to hide refugees.
Like Khyaera, whom I briefly shared their story before.
Giants couldn't hide from the sun in the Frontier.
So most fled north, to Roth and Norlod. Seeking protection.
