Touhou Farming is (like all other Steam games) on sale again! The game has lots of new stuff since the last sale, like greatly improved NPCs with friendship scenes, new farm doodads like grafted fruit trees and greenhouses, dastardly crows and rabbits for Serious Mode players, and lots of QOL!

WIP of the ingame map. Decided to make it part of the next update. It's (mostly) pixel accurate, so it will be able to display NPC positions and allow fast travel. (In Serious Mode, fast travel costs a few minutes.)

Decided to take advantage of NPCs being able to ignore walls for a few spots in their new schedules. It's not a problem as long as you can reach them!

While you might be waiting for Touhou Farming updates, have you tried ASTROLANCER? It's on sale for only $3 and has near perfect reviews! It's a hybrid shmup based on The Guardian Legend and has difficulty settings that should suit anybody.

I want to push the update tonight, but while stress testing the cutscenes (by setting everyone's friendship to max and letting them all play in a row walking into town) I found there's apparently some kind of memory error I need to get to the bottom of.

I'm baffled by what your thought process could've been for this one. "Hmm yeah I need a friendly casual conversation theme. I'll use DARK ROAD." And it worked perfectly! How??

Today we're posting one of our conversational themes. This is our "friendly conversation" theme that plays during specific in-game events!

We took the original, "Road of the Misfortune God ~ Dark Road," and really turned it on its head here. Please enjoy!

In a way, I'm lucky Touhou has a character like Suwako, who both belongs to a faction focused on expanding their business, and also plausibly knows anything about farming. Nobody else could fill the role as well as she does.

Last art replacement for now, a more lively (heh) Yuyuko. Currently working on expressions for all characters.

Proud of how bad this one is

Nemuno! She'll be added as a proper NPC later (every farm sim needs a guy living out in the wild) but she'll make an early appearance in certain events.

Some characters appear in events as cameos, and I won't spoil who, but it wouldn't hurt to show a few that are already in the game.

New Yukari art. She wears the purple dress in spring/summer and the sage outfit in fall/winter.

Also fixed Kyouko's body being a little too long.

Redrew Kutaka's lower body for more natural posturing.

Ichirin with better shoulder/arm definition. Looked too wimpy before. (Unzan may be the muscle but she doesn't neglect her training)

I redrew Yuugi's head to be more expressive and give her a more "towering" look.

Watermelon with more surly posturing. Also a tantalizing glimpse of her collarbones.
