Oohh, some dark Gothic short fiction, I'll definitely give that a look.
I'll trade you with The Ballad of Black Tom by Victor LaVelle. It's a reimagining of Lovecraft's "The Horror at Red Hook," but from the perspective of a 1920s Black man, so it turns HPL's racism on its head.
Wonderful read!

"Your boo's don't scare me; I've seen what you cheer for."
Seems like an appropriate quote.

Looking to connect with other #horrorwriters on BlueSky! Wanting to find my community and space to talk shop, help each other with the craft, and just generally be good humans in our collective journey of writing!
Give me a follow and a story rec, and I'll be sure to do the same!
So, I've had my first book Horror Drabble up on Amazon for a few months now, and I've been paid about .70 cents so far, which is more than 0! If you haven't seen it, please check it out here: www.amazon.com/Horror-Drabb...
And now, after taking a few months to work on other things, it's time!
This, exactly! And it might not be my kind of music, but I understand the passion and the emotion coming from him. The ending was soo good as well. It really puts into perspective what it means to be "proud to be American," for the better imo.
It was an awesome show!
When you come across racists complaining about Bad Bunny today, don’t forget to hit them with this: Puerto Rican literature about Puerto Rico written by a boricua. Yo sería borincano aunque naciera en la luna. Thanks and hope you have a great Sunday!

LET'S GO #SEAHAWKS!!! LET'S FUCKING GO!!!!
So, I personally wasn't a fan of the #Superbowl halftime music because I'm not a big fan of #BadBunny (just not my style), but I LOVED the message it brought. Lot of MAGA had a geography lesson tonight, if only they'd listen.
Appreciated the American love, for all of America!
*narrator voice* He, in fact, did not stick to a better schedule.
Oh well, better Nate than lever.
Anyway, book now available on Amazon! Link in my bio.
I mean...
Oh wow, I have a lot of new followers since I was added to an author starter pack.
It's another little nod to reflect that, yeah, I did write something and I am a writer.
Imposter syndrome can fuck right off into the sun!
Welcome all! I love horror, anime, and all things Cthulhu.
These are two separate activities. Fight me.

"McTighe was awake at ten o'clock and tried to get Lake on the wireless, as agreed, but some electrical condition in the disturbed air to the westward seemed to prevent communication."
H.P. Lovecraft, "At the Mountains of Madness.
Chilling that a group just suddenly goes radio silent.
Back here again. Going to try and make effort for at least one post a a day so I can build up a habit.
Already did! Thanks for the inclusion!
I have self-published one book and had a story on an online horror zine. Can I be included?
World news sucks.
Keep safe y'all.
Reposting to save for myself. Going to do a lot of submitting to these places for sure.
www.flashphantoms.net is where I first published my stories. They primarily deal in Horror, but anything weird enough might pique their interest!
Once had a boss who asked me to help troubleshoot his comp. Was running slow and laggy but brand new unit.
Took a look at his desktop across his multi monitor set up.
I stopped counting tabs at 70.
Motherboard could handle 128gb ram, so that's what I put in it.
He was so happy it ran better!
Become a writer, they said.
It'll be fun, they said.
Well, I'm neck deep in WordPress plugin guides and trial and error'ing workarounds because I'm too poor for the paid version, this is NOT WHAT I MEANT DAMN IT
I want to write fiction and prose, not the same test post 47 times.
For me, it kicked in pretty quickly, about 2 days.
But it caused my migraines to increase in frequency, so I had to drop it.
Now I just hope my sleep paralysis demon also brought the chamomile tea and rain sounds.
High School of the Dead.
Like, you can watch the show and find it enjoyable if you want to (I'm personally not a fan of it), but claim it being your "favorite" tells me a lot about what kinds of things you enjoy in anime.
And I suspect we're not going to have a lot of similar interests, lol
Toonami was such a a gateway into the world of anime. It sparked a generation of viewers who can appreciate the deeper themes hidden within anime (Outlaw Star was a trip of a show that my teenage brain couldn't truly appreciate back then).
And I'm sorry, but the promos for Toonami are peak TV.
Been thinking a lot about being an author recently.
And I'm not gonna lie, the depression, ADHD, and imposter syndrome take a toll.
But I have a book. I've published online.
I am an author, and it does feel good.
Self-doubt sucks, but it's only there because you care.

It's such a good feeling! I've been in a bit of a rut myself, but finally deciding on what my next project is going to be has helped break me out of it a bit.
Focus and direction. For someone with ADHD, those might as well be relics of Atlantis, but we still try!
I understand why a lot of #Lovecraft / #Cthulhu Mythos fiction is set in and around the turn of the century.
Can anyone recommend a fantasy cosmic horror? I think that'd be cool AF to read.
Fuck AI bullshit. None of my writing uses it.
Unless you count spellcheck? I can't spell definately to save my life.
