There is a slightly brown/pink wall with trim half-way up that my insurance company called crown molding, but honestly, the royal demeanor of the name is misleading because whoever painted it made no attempt to keep the paint from dripping. As a result, it looks kinda like dogshit. The bed has mint green sheets and a pillow with Rowan resting longways across it while Palantir lays perpendicular to Rowan providing ample oblique space for a head, human or dog, to rest comfortably. There’s a light source, probably a lamp of sorts, to the right contributing to the noire atmosphere of the picture. Each animal is captured in a way that makes their unique internal nature clear to viewers while upturning the idea that cats and dogs can’t get along.

Rowan wanted to become my pillow AND to use Palantir as a pillow this morning when I awoke.

Your existence is not up for debate. Your lives are not a political issue. We're fighting for a city where every trans New Yorker can live openly, safely, and with joy.

We can spend that money on housing, health care, education, and infrastructure.

We should probably like, just be a different country after this. This administration has really blown it. Mandatory free higher education will surely eradicate the conservative mind worm that infects our zeitgeist. Education is their biggest weakness. Look how they fear the books.

A cat (Schettler, maybe too old to be called a kitty given his current power level, but he doesn’t have Bluesky and he’s adorable, so I’m still going to call him a kitty) with an ottoman on his back doing a one handed pushup with his full body hovering off the ground. He looks directly into the camera with a coy smile, as if to say, “What are you gonna do about it?”, tauntingly to the viewer. An aura of intimidation emanates from his presence. Maybe he isn’t just a kitty, but a god. Atlas once carried the world on his shoulders, but we no longer need him. We’ve got Schettler, after all, and he’s been preparing for this his whole life through hard work and determination. What’s underneath the ottoman?
