They barely make the kind of dance movie being referenced in that segment anymore but we gotta spend so much of the 30 seconds of the ad on it that it might as well be longer than the actual feature film

There are many grievances to be had regarding the Coke AMC ad they play before the movie starts, but my greatest is that the dance movie homage lasts way too long, so much so that it distracts completely from the premise of going through different movie genres. They devote like 60% of the ad to it!

They also cut it in a bad way where they just focus on the “heartbreak feels good in a place like this” line, just because it was the line that people made memes about even though it makes no sense just saying that by itself.
