This is one of the main reasons why I stopped doing fannish things online & started doing it with my IRL circles.
Being online is like stepping into a minefield. You got all these fandom 20-30 y/o's who still think they're in highschool & are convinced that it's okay to act like that
It really is that damn phone. Gen z adults should stop spending all their time in online fandom spaces full of teens.
If you're unable to unplug, at least surround yourself with sane adults online who are mature enough to have emotional regulation skills. My god this phenomenon is truly pathetic

It's such a logical fallacy to conclude that we should push kids onto adult-only spaces. It's a systemic issue and they should focus all their energy into advocating for that...

I got harassed. It truly is disgusting that harmful radfem ideology has seeped into fandom culture. It's also sad to see that these young adults still think they're in highschool.
If they only surround themselves with chronically online teens, then of course they'll never mature emotionally.

Girllll never apologise about that! There's no pressure. I'm in the same boat as well, focusing on family, friends and career! So my well of art has been dry recently too 😂 I kinda accepted that this is another phase of my life
