I’m so tired of seeing so many supposed public servants support this toddler’s make-a-wish presidential fantasy of being a dictator.
Been editing Ho Chi Minh quotes over pics of Reagan and spreading them in boomer spaces instead of working today. Over a picture of Reagan and the following quote from Ho Chi Minh The capitalists often boast that their constitutions guarantee the rights of the individual, democratic liberties and the interests of all citizens. But in reality, only the bourgeoisie enjoy the rights recorded in these constitutions. The working people do not really enjoy democratic freedoms; they are exploited all their life and have to bear heavy burdens in the service of the exploiting class.

It might just be me, but I don’t think more expensive healthcare is the Christmas present millions of kids we’re looking forward to.

And if those concepts are too difficult for anyone to understand and adapt to, then I'd suggest putting more effort into evolving as a member of our species. Differences among people are the interesting parts of this experience, not the scary parts. Embrace it. Fighting it is ridiculous.
Can we please update our thinking about "Political Correctness?"
From what I can tell, isn't "political correctness" just:
-Courtesy, to refer to people how they prefer?
-Respect for others, who may not belong to your particular "tribe" (however you define that)
-Tolerance - cuz everyone ain't you.
No one’s opinions should be a death sentence. Actions they commit may cross the line into criminal violation, but that’s for the law and justice system to sort out.
The only surprising thing about the President's disclosure that he has obvious symptoms of heart failure is the confirmation that he does, in fact, have a heart.
Message to the Democratic Party and Establishment:
"If the rate of change on the outside exceeds the rate of change on the inside, the end is near."
-Look at NYC, Maine, AOC, Bernie. Then look at yourselves. Then remember you work for the people, not your donors.

Totally agree. MAGA is the enemy, our opponents are those who aren't MAGA but don't historically vote for dem candidates.
Everyone should start their posts of influence and opposition, "My fellow Americans". That's the team that matters now.

All citizens in major blue cities, including DC, LA, and Chicago, need to en masse post pics and vids of all the "carnage" that 47 is claiming is overwhelming these "failing cities."
Everyone could post with hashtag #liberalhellscape
I've got no social rizz, so please repost to spread the word.

📺 Our federal government just defunded PBS & NPR. This moment calls for more than outrage—it calls for imagination. What's needed is public trust media by us, not the govt.
I explore this idea in my latest post. Please read + share: bit.ly/4nLjirS

This is what is on my mind and in my heart this 4th of July.
If those who are undocumented are also essential for our economy, the bigger issue isn’t their decision to break a (civil) law, it’s our hypocritical immigration policy. If we need them, get them legalized!

I don’t want to hear talk of people overreacting to what’s happening. Those voicing concerns aren’t the ones with TDS.

A line chart with a blue line showing a large growth of protest events from Jan 20 - May 31, 2025, and a green line showing the relatively modest growth of protest events during the same period in 2017.
My team and I at the Crowd Counting Consortium (@djpressman@bsky.social, Soha Hammam, & Chris Shay) have a new piece out: wagingnonviolence.org/2025/06/amer.... In it, we show that through May 2025, the size and scale of anti-Trump protests have dwarfed those in 2017. 🧵
This is terrific content to fight the 'reality' being propagated by pro-47 regime propaganda outlets and actors. It also does a great job of showing that the protests now are significantly larger than in the past.
Keep going!
The vast majority of undocumented residents who WORK, jobs US citizens won’t do, and don’t crime, and are instrumental to our ECONOMY.
What’s criminal is we consider them criminal, and don’t find some sort of legal status.
We (our government) needs to do better.
You can't call immigrants lazy moochers looking for government handouts and then round them up at Home Depots where you know they are looking for work.
You can't say immigrants don't follow the rules and then round them up in courthouses where they are following the rules.
Get your lies straight.
