If you’re referring to me…please reread what I wrote. And I don’t give a shit about the Seahawks.

If you’re referring to John Schneider, you are correct and that’s been MY point. It should be no surprise that a guy whose job it is to win football games wants every single possible advantage for his franchise. It’s not his job to worry about healthcare or the FYDP.

Thanks, but I didn’t ask.

Your original argument was that he only cared himself. I pointed out why that wasn’t the case. But now you just confirmed my other point: Seattle had a competitive advantage in regards to taxes, now they do not. They new tax is a competitive disadvantage.

Some will, some won’t. All he’s saying is that the Seahawks will be at a competitive disadvantage in this area in comparison to other jurisdictions in the NFL.

And unlike players, there’s no salary cap for executives. The Seahawks can structure his contract so his net income is commensurate with his peers in lower tax states. He’s not talking about himself.

His livelihood is based on winning football games. To win, you need talent. Some talent you draft-they have no choice where they play. But sometimes you need to sign free agents. Those guys can sign elsewhere for any number of reasons, tax implications being one. It’s not that deep.

You just proved his point.

My buddy and I called it the Suck ‘em Down play. The defender would mysteriously be “sucked” down towards the bottom of the screen.

I’m sure it’s up to the conference. But I think the reason the SBC gave us about title game eligibility was because we weren’t bowl eligible.

Screw the bowl games—woulda been real nice to play for the conference title those first two years.

Yes, I’m sure your perceptions about what the USAWC teaches is what kept you from commissioning into the military.

I won’t say you’re ignorant here, but if you use Google you can find out in private.

That’s not quite what we’re taking about here. But times have changed my friend. Servicemembers are much more educated and aware than they were 40 years ago, especially among the young, junior members.

The Coastal loss was killer.

Are surveys of electoral preferences of active-duty military cause for concern? In a democracy that wants and needs a non-partisan military, shouldn’t active-duty servicemembers avoid creating, in advance of a divisive and hotly-contested election (or any election), the …

Who’s they? And yes, while bullshit might be strong word, the aforementioned polls are of questionable scientific and methodological value.

It is nearly impossible to accurately and scientifically poll only the US military on political issues. And using AI to make your point is worse.

You mean the same Jesse Jackson who wanted to “cut his nuts off” and said he (Obama) talked down to black people?

Jackson didn’t like Obama. The tears were performative.
