Is it too late to make get Nancy Pelosi into the Senate and make her Senate Minority Leader instead of Chuck Schumer? She'd make sure that the full Dem Caucus holds the line.
If Senate Dems agree to a CR *before* Mike Johnson gives a vote on the ACA subsidies in the House, it will be a massive failure. Dems finally have some fire, and a deal that sacrifices the ACA in the House will demoralize the Dem base. Signed, an actual DNC member
Incredible opportunity to serve on the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee! We passed a number of reforms to move power out of Washington, DC and back to the states, and are now starting the process to write the rules and create the calendar to choose the next presidential nominee.

I remind myself that we didn’t choose this, but the future is counting on us. Trump and the Rs are teaching that autocracy CAN happen here when we forget that democracy is fragile. It’s up to us to teach the future how you fight back against it.

Had a really great morning with 300+ of my fellow Democrats at their reorganizational meeting in Bismarck. It’s great to see so many longtime friends, and share some messages about a path forward for our state and our party.

Was a huge honor to speak with the Northern Valley Dem-NPL at their re-org meeting today. There was record turnout at the event. I’m seeing this everywhere: larger than normal numbers, and more new folks than they’ve seen before. It’s heartening and really fills me with hope!

Well over 200 Democrats showed up in Fargo today to gather, reorganize their districts, and continue the process of winning our state and country back. It was an honor to join the other speakers in sharing some important messages!

Had a great time speaking with the NoDak D24 Dems today in Valley City. We had a turnout of nearly 40 attend on a chilly 0 degree day. When one of the first-timers was asked why he was there for the first time, his response was simple: “I’m pissed and want to do something.”

Incredible night in NoDak for Dems. We had nearly 40 people show up for a meeting in the most conservative part of the state, on a night when it was nearly -20 degrees, to talk about how we push back against the craziness in state and federal govt. Was proud to join them!
