some progress, also forgot i never showed the concept art for the guild hall
Been working awhile on a billiards game! It's PvP- both players have their own cueball and shoot at the same time. YOMI inspirations too, with a preview of your shot before you lock it in. That way you can do cool trickshots while trying to read your opponent!!!
been working on modeling the guild hall/hub area for field bio
a bit of a failed experiment (imo) to model some kind of bird wyvern. the silhouette is a bit lost and gets really hard to read.
i like the softness that comes with the flat unlit version, but lighting wont affect it. but the other version has a plastic-y feel to it though... ๐ค
Thank you very much!
Nice! Didn't know volumetric clouds was feasible without.
Thank you! Is it based on any specific articles/papers I can read up on? Very curious on how this implementation works. Also does the video use any temporal accumulation/reuse or is it just <10 steps per pixel each frame from scratch?
I am making clouds for @skipsy.ca's new VRChat world. The clouds render faster than the mountains lol
#VRChat
What kind of technique is this? It looks great, with good performance I assumed volumetric clouds would always have very visible artifacts but I can't see any in the video, is this not ray-marched? Would love to experiment with something like this for our game.
some doodles of armina i did for no particular reason
heres armina's sprite for field bio
redid her whole design if anyone remembers that old design
did some concepting for a semi-generic wyvern for field bio since we didn't have one even thought of before
the general idea behind them is that theyre basically the red-tailed hawks of field bio, which is to say very common across the westlands, probably with plenty of regional subspecies
drawing of pip waking up cause i felt like it
field bio dev content posted by me and not @bitilope.itch.io
this time can you believe it
its just me finding some poke'pokes with the camera (to show off the blinking)

Field Bio Progress Log #1, a lil bit of a weird one given that it's been 4 months since the last Progress Log... and also first of many Progress Logs on Bluesky lol
