So... another two years til I can update either passport 🙃 My future child is definitely getting a unisex name.
Kinda wish I never got an Irish passport now because I could've just updated my British one with just my deed poll and drivers licence NOW, then applied for the Irish one at a later date. But alas, 2019 Charly did not realise this would be such a problem.

Unfortunately the British passport office insist you update any other passports first, so for me that's my Irish one, but the Irish office insist on 2 years of proof of usage.
Irish passport office rly makes updating your name the most annoying process ever when it really does not need to be that difficult.
