Went to the Polynesian Cultural on Oahu yesterday not knowing it is run by BYU.

Instantly had a visceral reaction to Polynesians having to “perform” whitewashed, funhouse-mirror-versions of their cultures for colonizers. Had to step away & cry.

Right. I’m sure there’s a threshold & calculations to be done, but there are definitely areas in Idaho that would benefit greatly from light rail & better bus systems.
