Almost two years in and I’m just so very happy to be in this body without breasts! I did not expect to feel like this. It’s so interesting!

Woman Diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease at 2-Months-Old Wakes Up with No Pain for the First Time in Her Life After New Treatment Tatyana Thompson, who was diagnosed with sickle cell disease when she was 2 months old, was successfully cured of the disease after she participated in Johns Hopkins research on sickle cell treatment.

Tatyana Thompson said when she became pregnant with her son, her pain from sickle cell intensified. She was repeatedly in the hospital with a sharp pain, which she compared to being cut by a knife.

After experimental treatment requiring bone marrow from her brother, she is pain-free.

I'm begging my fellow politicians, Illinoisans, and Americans to realize that right now, we aren't fighting over policy or political party.

We're fighting over whether we're going to be a country rooted in empathy and kindness — or one rooted in cruelty and rage.

Another memorable ruling out of West Virginia, where Judge Goodwin — a Clinton appointee — excoriates the treatment of ICE detainees.

"This is not what civil enforcement looks like in a humane system of government under law."

Paid for by cuts to the social safety net for everyone else.

He goes on to describe one of his officers being stopped when she was off-duty solely because she's non-white, harassed by ICE goons who slapped her phone out of her hand as she tried to record, only to be let go when she finally revealed she was a cop.
