Glad to see that Dungeons of Hinterberg successfully identified the 2 key ingredients of an alternate playable character in a character action game:

-Cooler weapon

-Awful personality but somehow equally charismatic

I wish more games were annoying in ways that made me be creative about problem solving instead of sucking in fundamental ways that make me sad for the developers responsible

The affinity mission experience so far in Xenoblade X so has been me accepting it and then immediately being told to cross the entire map to a zone I've never been to kill an enemy 5 levels below me after barely avoiding several dozen on the way that are 30 levels above me

Charge characters are going extinct and it sucks.

The slow death of charge is just another consequence of modern fighting game designs lending themselves towards things that are flashy and obvious at the expense of meaningful complexity and gameplay variety. It's why I'm not hopeful about Decapre ever coming back in SF; there'd be no point.
