A song for the times were living in
It’s been quiet around here but we are gearing up for a great year. First show of the year at Old Pal in Lockhart on Jan 25th. In the process of recording our first full band studio album. And I am also back on my banjo game. See y’all out there!
these all died off with the pandemic in Austin and seemed to have never returned, even 24 Diner closes at like 10 or 11, Kerbey Lane was a huge late night staple and none are 24hr anymore and the food is terrible too… always looking for a spot after we play an evening gig and there’s nothing!
I saw a girl on TikTok showing herself unliking every song in her liked list on Spotify and tbh I might do that, might help me discover a new 15 songs to listen to on repeat lol
We played our last show of 2024, so I had to wear something very special. This is a handmade dress made of old table cloths. Someone in the crowd told me I looked like I could be on top of a Christmas tree 👼
And if you’re in the bluegrass or old-time scene, let’s connect!!
But I see there is a little bluegrass community on here so I thought I’d do a brief intro and try to get on here more. I miss the vibe of Twitter and Threads isn’t quite hitting right, so let’s see how this goes!
I am already posting almost daily on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and Threads, so truthfully I don’t know how often I’ll post here
And last but definitely not least, Lenny. Lenny holds it down on bass, and he’s just generally a cool dude (I need more pics of Lenny, we are working on getting his tintype)
And then there’s Noah… he plays banjo, but he is also a really talented pianist and guitar player too
Kyle is our mandolin player, and he shreds like no other
My husband Tony is our bandleader and rhythm guitarist
I’m Hannah, the lead singer and also the voice behind all our social media
Hey y’all! We are Strawberry Flats, an old-timey band based out of Austin. 🍓
Sweet!!! Followed!
Is there a #bluegrass community on here?
