Specifically Drinks and food. How are you hosting without curating whats being eaten you just let everybody use your house to hang

My stepdad engraved the idea in my mind that the host shouldn’t need help hosting and I keep that in mind. I don’t host unless I’m doing it all. I think everything else is tacky.

I don’t have any loved ones on here yet so I can rant still. I absolutely hate potluck style events. I hate them.

God is sooo good to me. Leaning deeply into my faith and focusing on what he’s promised me has shifted my whole outlook on life. To barely worry is insane. I’m naturally a worry worm.
