It wasn't a miss, it just has one big flaw and that's the fact you can't directly modify your wardrobe anymore, which they said they'll implement with the next path.

Other than that issue I find that the system is really good and I'm actually playing around more with my wardrobe than before.

You need the weapon to actually get the skin at the NPC in your homestead after doing the collection.
