To continue the theme of things that will bug me about this build, but no one else will notice...

It's a 1:32 scale build, bigger than my usual 1:72, so I thought I'd put some extra detail into the wheels. I don't have any "DUNLOP" decals, but I _do_ […]

I’m so feeling for my Welly peeps but I’m also seeing a lot of folks are saying “so glad I can WFH” and I think we forget in weather events of the past where you couldn’t come into the office you used to get the day off.

People who demanded two former PMs and a Deputy PM (two retired) front a show trial about events from five years ago that they answered for in a Royal Commission and at the ballot box

... are now outraged that journalists are asking the current PM about the stability of his govt

Man who took on no other jobs to let him focus on being the Bestest Ever Captain of the Ship now facing a mutiny.

Meanwhile women make bad leaders or something and business Daddies fix everything, do I have that right?

And i was standing in quiet corners away from the crowds trying to consume some sustenance without too much risk.

I don't think i ignored any eye contacts...

Men, We Need to Talk About "Rape Academy" This isn’t about women. This is about us. And it’s long past time we had this conversation

An article I wrote for men about "Rape Academy."

Women already know this & I say this with full awareness of how uncomfortable it makes men: Most men are not safe to be around alone.

This is not sustainable & men must lead the change. Men, we need to talk: qasimrashid.substack.com/p/men-we-nee...

We had to break it to a student this week that the reason she wasn't able to find the reference info for a particular source was that it wasn't real. She was astounded, completely floored, that AI wasn't a search engine.

It's really simple now.

Are you okay with genocide and annihilation, or not?

There's no threat except from the USA in this particular situation.

This is all the Trump Admin, right now.

This is simple. Threatening to annihilate an entire country is evil.

You can't argue otherwise.

Fuel saving This is the last week-end when petrol stations will be allowed to stay open past noon on Saturday, but I wonder how much petrol will be saved as a result? The effect, I suspect, is intended to be mainly psychological. Although the move will eliminate long week-end trips, I suspect the amount of fuel actually used on such trips is not a very high proportion of total consumption. The effect might be just as marked if the public was told by the Government just what the fuel supply situation is—if, in fact, the Government does know. As it is, most people in the motor trade and outside it believe that the Government is keeping most of the facts to itself.

From early 1974. Petrol Stations were being closed at noon on Saturday to discourage weekend (optional/lifestyle) driving. Also complaints the government is not providing data to the people of the nation for them to assess.

NZFirst post on X-Twitter, reads “Winston Peters: Those vaccine injured need a voice."

#NZpol Winston still playing for his crowd.

Annoying, but he’s entitled to that.*

BUT about that claim…

While there are vaccine side effects, you HAVE to look at both sides of risk equation. It’s the *balance* of what risk vaccines have _against_ the risks from the disease.

New Zealand loses 41,000 jobs in two years as government offers no plan March 30, 2026

41,000 jobs lost in 2 years is wild. Auckland lost 21,000 filled jobs over the same two-year period while construction shed 20,000 jobs & manufacturing 10,000. Over 165,000 Kiwis are now unemployed, worst in 13 years, but much worse when you consider 3% of NZ citizens have fled for overseas

I note this is also the same government that encouraged all the farmers to go out and buy new diesel utes instead of transitioning to electric vehicles. #Karma #nzpol
