Losing my mind over this. I have a machine in my lap on which I can periodically toggle over from something else I'm doing on the machine to watch a SPACESHIP return from THE MOON. Earlier I could hear the SPACESHIP'S PEOPLE as they talked to other people LOCATED ON MY PLANET BUT VERY FAR FROM ME.
Now it's about half an hour. They just detached and are on their way homeward!

I ended a decade-long relationship last summer, moved out on my own for the first time since 2014, and bought myself a hammer, a level, and a tape measure in December since my ex got the tool bucket in the "divorce."
Freelance writing rates haven't changed since the 90s. While I understand why some writers are turning to AI tools so they can "write faster", it pains me to think of how many mid-career folks who were laid off are discovering these rates and deciding to leave journalism altogether.
