I went to see them on the Moon Safari tour at the Piece Hall in Halifax a couple of years ago. Absolute magic. Such a good album and such a good show.

And here's what it'll look like
I'm really excited about getting this out. It's some 80s acid, but done a bit differently. CD and download on @wormholeworld.bsky.social in June followed by a remix CD with some amazing remixers in August.
Starting Saturday with...
Yes, 3/4, but also in 13/16, 5/4, 2/4, 11/16 and 7/8.
Prime numbers rule.
I've got an ep of acid house coming out in June on @wormholeworld.bsky.social that uses all of these. It's strangely danceable.
First one of these that I've managed to get to in a few months. Managed to snag my usual seat on the front row. A very highly recommended night out.
They really are!
Morning all. My #weekendsingles this week are a bunch of late 80s and early 90s dance 7"s, all bought at the time probably from Woolies and EGS records.
That makes sense. I've just had a look and there's nothing controversial.

Wait... Why was there no number 40 or number 11 in that chart? #totp
The episodes of #totp with the Wizard as the opening are always the best, but this is bound to be better than that 99 guff earlier.
Genuinely look forward to a bit of Top of the Pops on a Friday and it's a real shame that there isn't a half hour weekly snapshot of what's what any more.
Totally agree. And, whatever anyone else thinks, that MC Kinky bit is ace.
I was listening to this just the other day. It's such a simple tune with absolutely no faffing about, and amazing for it.
Absolute tune.
My study of acid house and prime numbers is coming out on the lovely @wormholeworld.bsky.social in a couple of months.
I'm starting to get a bit excited about this.
Huddersfield pirate radio T-shirt, circa 1993. I thought this looked dead good at the time. It didn't.
It's a strange kind of remix. Ask the same stuff but in a different order. I like it too.
She credits him. "Bomb the bass rocks this place" and "Hey Timmy". The version we all know of Buffalo Stance is very much a Tim Simenon thing.
This week's #weekendsingles from me are all on the mighty Rhythm King label. I posted a couple of these last week but I couldn't miss them out of this lot.
Chicken ๐
I reckon it might be best to just admit defeat and get on eBay and get a new one. I think I've probably got no more than 2 years out of this one though. I must be buying some properly grimy pieces at those record fairs.
This is jumping all over the place.
I think that the dirt and grime living in the grooves of my many record fair and charity shop purchases may have eaten yet another needle.
Happy long weekend. Starting it with this belter.
Currently listening to this latest compilation from the wonderful @moolakiiclubai.bsky.social It's a Merseyside special and very highly recommended. My wife always tells me it's like listening to something from inside a Berlin art gallery. That's a compliment, right?
I'm in a budget 80s house megamix album with baffling artwork kind of mood
Excellent. Nice to know that this is still a thing. This might be my favourite miss-labelling incident.

My apologies. Here you go:

I've got the remix one, and mine does have a sticker on the front saying "brand new remix". They obviously got a bit mixed up at the pressing plant. Stickered some wrong sleeves and put the correct/incorrect record in (depending on how you look at it)
