Agree. Why do we have to be best? It's exhausting and counter-intuitive to having a healthy and happy populace. Witness our addiction problems, suicide rates, mass shootings, etc. This is not indicative of a happy country. Gawd, just give us a break.

I am pretty certain that is what most people on this home we call Earth want.

I wish all people were like minded. I don't know anyone who wants power and money (well, maybe a little more money). They just want to live peaceful lives with food on the table, affordable healthcare and housing, fam and friends, occasional vacations, and hopes that their children will be OK.
