Thinking about old friends and hoping they’re doing well.

(But also, my birthday is coming up on September 8th, so if anyone wanted to get me a birthday gift, here’s a list of stuff I’m trying to save for.)

I’ll save up and get stuff as I can, but I figured there’s no harm in putting it out in the universe either. No expectations, a wishlist is exactly that; it’s a list of a wishes and hopes and dreams of one day.

People make wishlists for when they get married, so why not for other big occasions in life? Like when your whole life is changing and suddenly you won’t have anywhere to put your books because your apartment has built in bookshelves. Or because you love your dishes and now they have nowhere to go?

We’ve never been quiet. Our community has never backed down. On August 23, 2025, we’re getting even LOUDER!

Also, said food table is making my already scattered focus just completely nonexistent today.

Potluck at work and the hot food table is being set up directly across from me and I’m now starving like my cats at 3am.

I see all these posts by folks saying they’re sober or stopped smoking or whatever and all it makes me want to do is go buy cigarettes and beer.

I don’t smoke and drink occasionally.

But like, it feels like someone needs to have an unhealthy vice and why not me?

Allie is beside the tree branch and tipping her tan pirate hat with a long cream feather, peacock feathers, and shorter brown and blue feathers. Underneath the hat is a blue patterned scarf holding her chestnut brown curls back. She is wearing an off the shoulder cream blouse with long bell sleeves, and a blue corset belt. She has a hoop skirt under a royal blue floral print satin skirt, a fawn colored lace skirt overlays that, and a cream, crocheted and beaded scarf is tied over that. Over all that is a brown double strapped belt for holding her pouch, cup, fan, and other things.

Lacking accessories, my makeup is on point. Hair is still up in pincurls, jewelry isn’t on, but red lipstick and good foundation on the face, with black glasses. Black Victorian style blouse with an Ouija board planchet pin, eye, moon, and star pin, with a black ribbon choker.

First trip to Sherwood Forest Faire yesterday! I went as Victorian Mothman and my costume was a hit! I had the best time with @myjadedeyes.bsky.social and it was such a good day!

I’m going to my first ever Ren Faire on Saturday and I’m pretty excited to go! I’ll have to post pictures.

I’m wearing my Mothman costume accessories with a late 1800s-esque dress for a steampunk kinda look.

Yesterday I felt like garbage and today I (finally) have my adhd meds in my system after TWO MONTHS of not and I feel so much better it’s unreal.

I may be quiet and mild mannered, but I will fight for myself.
