The episode "Second Chance" is all about Bruce wanting to free Harvey from Two-Face. And even though he does get sent back to Arkham, Harvey still very much values Bruce's support and friendship.
Bruce always believed that people like her and Harvey Dent were just victims of tragic circumstances.
We should at least consider the first two as definitely canon, and "Super Paper Mario" as psuedo-canon.
