I just happened to remember a video I recorded at home during the pandemic, so I thought I’d share it.
An all-female band playing Deep Purple songs is pretty rare, isn’t it?

Thunder Force IV vinyl. It shows a spaceship up front and a large spacecraft in the back
back of the jacket listing all the songs on 3 vinyl
each of the variants in the set. They are a mix of black/blue/white in marble patterns
My Thunder Force collection back in 2019. In front of the jacket has 3 of the Sega Genesis games (II, III, and IV), and the Playstation 1 version of Thunder Force V
...7 years ago today, unintentionally started a not-cheap collecting habit: vinyl. SEVEN YEARS?? wtf
Saw an article that Data Discs was releasing this and was like "Wow, something for Thunder Force after all these years! I'm a buy it"
Famous last words...
YAMAOH is hooked on a shooting game called DRAINUS.
Released in 2022, this game features numerous mechanics that pay homage to classic shooting games of the past.
If you're a fan of Fantasy Zone or Gradius III, you should definitely give it a try!

I was cleaning out my old room at my parents' house a little while ago when I stumbled upon a clay figurine I made when I was little!
I had completely forgotten about it myself, but this is "Aquamentas," the Level 1 boss from The Legend of Zelda.🐲
I'm not sure if it looks like him or not😁

Lately, I’ve been playing *Mr. Driller Great* at Mikado Arcade. I’m currently tackling the advanced courses. Since I keep bumping my head against the walls, I haven’t been able to play with any characters other than Hollinger, but I’m taking it slow and steady.

Thanks!
We had a rule at home that I could only play video games for an hour and a half a week, so during the times I couldn’t play, I’d spend my time creating game characters instead 😁
I never imagined I’d end up beating Dragon Ninja, a game I used to play as a kid, through a livestream!
Thank you!
Amiga's Another World!
I just looked it up, and the animation is so smooth—the quality is incredible for the early '90s!
I think I saw it described somewhere as a game that's way too hard.😆
Thanks!
I might actually be seeing this video for the first time!
Actually, I first learned about the X-Men from a Capcom game!
And I first discovered the T.M.N.T. from a Game Boy game...🐢
I guess there are probably a lot of fans in Japan who discovered them through games too 🙆

Next weekend Sat-Sun is Midwest Gaming Classic, and I’ll be in the artist alley!! Please let me know if you’ll be there and what you want to see and I’ll try and make it happen for you! 💪🌸🌸🌸
Finally getting on my stuff for Midwest Gaming Classic prep!! I’ll be there along with my bestie ブライアン @onemillionpower.com selling his awesome Gameplay Harmonies book, and ordered Porcelain Room Chun Li posters just in time for this event!! See you all next weekend in Milwaukee!

Suikoden 3!
It’s hard to believe this was made over 20 years ago, isn’t it?
I think it’s a fantastic opening that really gives you the feeling an epic movie is about to begin!
I'm so glad you feel the same way!
I've played all the Sakura Wars games, from 1 through 5!
2 and 3 are my absolute favorites!
Oh, this is really great!
The rich sound of the PCE and the distinctive basslines of Ys are so enjoyable!
Hey, fellow gamers!
I’ve been testing out a game I dug up the other day, and I found myself completely mesmerized by the opening movie.
This is *Sakura Wars 3*, which I bought along with my Dreamcast.
It’s still amazing even now.
Do you guys have any opening movie you really loved?

Chrono Cross is great!
I actually covered the opening theme a few years ago.
I really love its organic vibe!

Hello, gamers!
Fantom Iris hosts a monthly music show at Mikado Arcade, and we’d love to hear from our international fans too.
Our next theme is “Cool Guitar-Driven Game Music”—do you have any songs in mind?🎸⚡
So far, suggestions include Thunder Force IV and Virtua Fighter 2.
This month, Mr. Kishimoto, the creator of Double Dragon and Renegade (Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun), passed away.
To pay tribute to this legendary creator beloved by fans around the world, I’m sharing a video from a few years ago of Yamaoh playing the drums.
Thank you for the wonderful memories. R.I.P.
Last night, we at "Fantom Iris" held a wrap-up party for our March exhibition and recorded an interview for an overseas website 🎥
This is a bar called 16shots, which is filled with video game merchandise
We’ve also decided on the video game music we’ll be performing during our May livestream!✨

This time I focused on guitar tracks, but I’ll be featuring some cool bass-driven game music in a future stream, so I might add those to the list then 💖
In a stream a little while back, I think I played “Legendary Wings” and “A3” from Thunder Force V as examples of tracks with great bass lines.
Thanks!
The clean-toned guitar backing on KOF XIII is really cool!
We use it in our own compositions too, and I think traditional Japanese instruments and electric guitars just go really well together for some reason.
As for KOF XIII, I personally really love “Tame a Bad Boy”!!!!
Bass: kyo-ji
Thanks!
This song is awesome!
The fast guitar riffs and the intense melody! The organ is cool too, isn't it?🎸🎹
The Guilty Gear series has a lot of great songs, so in a stream a while back, I played “HOLY ORDERS” and “MOMENTARY LIFE” as well.
Bass: kyo-ji
Thanks!
Hyper Duel is so cool, isn't it!
Both the arcade version and the Saturn arrangement are awesome!
We're big fans of Technosoft too, and we've even performed songs from Thunder Force V—
like “Legendary Wings,” “A3,” and “Steel Of Destiny”—at streaming events and live venues!
Bass: kyo-ji
Thank you!
YES! I love the Mega Man X series too!
Home consoles are an option, so that’s fine!🎮✨
I might play something from Mega Man X, so I’ll let you know when the show’s URL is released!
Stay tuned!
Bass: kyo-ji
Thanks!
That’s a great choice!
Now that I know TFIV is popular overseas too, I might play something from it on the show!
But since there are a lot of twin-guitar tracks, maybe I should practice guitar too...🎸⚡
I’ve even played “Sand Hell” as a warm-up for my bass slapping technique.
