I’ve tried engaging here too and feel the frustration. Seems like people are just doom scrolling politics here and not engaging socially.

Yeah no doubt! Pretty rough out there today!
I had always wished to be in a nor’easter when I lived in DC. Boston’s had it good this year!
Still fun to live a winter storm when you don’t have to drive in it. I think half of WI is going to Minneapolis for a volleyball tournament this weekend. No fun driving back.
Denny was actually kind of excited the other day when it looked like the surface low was going to go through Chicago.
lol. Anyone else on here worth following?
My attempt to start engagement on here outside of politics and Packers.
Have to admit, was kind of hoping to be in the main snow zone for this one. Now it just looks warm for us. Enjoy northern WI!
Could this BE any closer of a game?
It’s awesome cause it’s the perfect amount and I didn’t even try.
It seems a lot of people started out pretty open and conversational here, but a lot of voices have faded.
The answer is no. Just politics.
I post my updates to my personal FB so that my other friends and hockey folks know when to take action. Even if we warm up a bit in a few weeks, should make good ice the next week here.
Does Bluesky have much of a backyard ice rink following like Twitter used to? Filling day in Oconomowoc, WI. #odr

Think we’re on the same dock.
Not sure but it at least was initializing better than anything else at least for this system.
Yeah, I was working with Walworth Co Sheriff at Alpine that night and had a hard time showing any sort of confidence to what was going to happen. Not great having multiple runs of the HRRR showing dry conditions.
The afternoon runs of this model seemed to handle this past Saturday nights flood in the Milwaukee area the best.
When lines of storms track east through FDL, velocity can look like it’s decreasing but it’s moving at a bad angle compared to our radar.
Total number of Day 3 Moderate Risks in the past 20 years for WI.
Main rain done at the draft. Maybe just some drizzle left. #nfldraft
From looking at things today, a lot of 0-3km shear but drops off above it. More unidirectional shear the further east. Fast moving band of storms in the evening in WI.
Monday is looking like an issue.
Tornado drill day tomorrow in WI. Do your thang.
@nws.noaa.gov MILWAUKEE hosting **Storm Spotter** classes for 2025 starting tonight in Lafayette Co.
In SE WI, I have the next classes listed below.
Remember, last year, we got 45 tornadoes across the state, the 3rd highest in recorded history.
