The premise is flawed — streaming isn’t convenient anymore. When it came out, it was. But the act of putting a DVD or CD in a player is way more convenient than wading through multiple services to find what you’re looking for, finding out it’s not included in your tier, and dealing with commercials.

It seems that whatever they did, it backdates to about 2020, AND includes closed shops.
If you never used Etsy's internal shipping labels, you should be fine.
Even folk who shipped 1 or 2 items were hit with $5+ fees, so again, make sure you get refunded.
I cannot think of any reason for this "glitch" that doesn't feel predatory as there's no reason etsy should be able to charge extra on shipping more than a month after you buy the label.
Use Pirateship or ANY other service for your labels. Etsy is NOT trustworthy.
